I was selected for the University of South Dakota Foundation & Alumni Association's 30 Under 30 List for 2025. I was recognized in the Civic Trailblazers section for my "leadership in civic life" and for "shaping communities through impactful service and steadfast advocacy."

Publication & Award for Research on Drag Bans
06.06.2025

My legal research paper titled "Don't Be a Drag: How Drag Bans Can Violate the First Amendment" won the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association's Michael Greenberg Writing Competition and was published in the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality. The paper analyzed recent legislation attempting to ban drag performances and how these proposed laws violate freedom of speech protected under the First Amendment.

My legal research paper titled "Looking Backward to Move Forward: Ending the 'History and Tradition' of Gun Violence Against the LGBTQ Community" was a finalist in the American Constitution Society's Constance Baker Motley National Student Writing Competition and was published in the Duke Law Journal Online.
